Protect your information
Personal data and submitted files are never transferred to a country outside the EU / EEA. The Fine-art.education server is connected to reliable, redundant infrastructure and is located in a managed European datacenter. Backups of the entire database are done daily and the security copies of the backup are stored separately from the main data center on Amazon’s European servers.
To protect your information Fine-art.education uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) industry standard, the highest level of security available today for web-secured applications. We use TLS with up to 256 AES encryption as supported by the client. All backups are encrypted. Passwords are never stored as clear text. They are always hashed and salted securely. Registered users at Fine-art.education can enable Two-factor authentication (2FA), often referred to as two-step verification, which is a security process in which the user provides two authentication factors to verify they are who they say they are.
Fine-art.education uses Stripe as payment processor for online payments. All sensitive information like credit card numbers and other account information is securely transmitted directly to Stripe’s servers. Nobody at Fine-art.education can store or access sensitive payment information. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available.
Fine-art.education accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure. Because your potentially personally-identifying is so sensitive, account passwords are encrypted, which means we can’t see your passwords. We can’t resend forgotten passwords either. We’ll only reset them.
